The S14-M suits mechanical fabrication, transportation, and construction work where angled cuts matter as much as a clean edge. It handles pipe, plate, channel, conduit, angle iron, metal studs, rebar, and tubing, making it useful for structural steel fabrication, custom metal frames, and repeatable angle cuts on production runs. Its 1750W motor and portable 72 lb frame support both jobsite work and continuous shop use.
The S14-M offers a wider +/-46° mitering range compared to the S14's 45°, plus a heavier cast-aluminum base for added stability. Both share the same 1750W motor, 14" blade, and pipe capacity, with the S14-M priced for its extra versatility.
The S14-M comes in both 120V/60Hz (SM-S-14-M) and 230V/50Hz (SM-S-14-M-230) versions, so it runs on standard shop power or 230V circuits depending on your facility's setup.
A newly designed 14" laser-cut TCT blade for mild steel is included. The 1" arbor bore accepts other compatible 14" blades, so operators can swap in one suited to aluminum, stainless, or thinner materials.
The S14-M miters up to +/-46°, letting operators dial in custom angles for fabrication layouts. The precision miter table locks at the set angle, delivering repeatable, accurate cuts across a production run.
At 72 lbs, the S14-M is portable enough for jobsite use while still built for shop duty. Steelmax positions it for both field and shop environments, making it a flexible pick either way.
